Ben's farewell meal @ COLBAR, Whitchurch Road (Next to Temasek Club)

Ben is a intern from Germany. He finished his internship two weeks ago and my team decided to give him a farewell lunch. Their food were normal and they were obviously overpriced. Perhaps what makes the restaurant special is its history in Singapore. The restaurant started out in 1953 at Jalan Hang Jebat as a canteen for the old British army troops. To salvage this part of Singapore’s history, roof tiles, timber screens and solid timber swing doors were reused when the restaurant shifted to Whitchurch Road. Surprisingly, despite the overpriced yet normal food, the restaurant is very popular among the Caucasians.

Mei Qin's 22nd birthday @ Aloha Changi Chalet

It's a pity that I had to leave early for another birthday celebration @ Chinese Garden. Mich, MQ, Wan Ling (she's my primary school friend! What a small world!) and I were the first to reach the chalet and we were kinda scared to enter the chalet at first HAHA! The chalet was very ulu and quiet, and the air in the Chalet was very still and stale, which seemed to me that it had been vacant for quite some time. So the first thing we did was to open all the windows and switched on all lights. Helped up with some blowing of balloons and hung the "Happy Birthday" banner with Mich before rushing to another celebration.

Baby Cyrus' 1st birthday!

He's definitely the cutest baby I've ever seen!!! He's such a lucky boy, with having such a fun party at the age of only one year old! The party had lots of kids and even had a clown performance and magic show to entertain them! No games for the adults and we had our share of fun laughing at those kids! Ops! HAHA! Those kids played games like musical chairs and "freeze-when-music-stop" games and you should see how funny their expressions were!

Yuan Yang/luncheon meat and egg papaya soup noodle@ Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe

German Blend Coffee/Berry Oreo @ TCC

Anchorpoint

This is slowly becoming one of our hang out places. It has factory outlets such as Pedro and Charles and Keith, which sell really really cheap things! The shoes can cost as cheap as $6!!! Plus there wasn't many people there, so it's like we owned the whole TCC!

I like the Berry Oreo drink as recommended by Mr Lui! The combination is fab!

Aglio Olio @ China Square Central, 3 Pickering Street

I finally met up with dearest QY! I heard that Aglio Olio is good and so we decided to try them! We were like tourists cos we couldn't find the way to China Square Central. We only saw the China Square building but Aglio Olio was yet to be seen. We asked a few passers-by and they kept pointing to the China Square building! By then, we were hungry but we still wanna try the Aglio Olio. We finally found China Square Central, and it is not at all near to China Square. Fortunately, the Aglio Olio were very very delicious and the ambience was really good!!! Just that the spicy level was way too hot. So anyone who wants to go there one day, just indicate the spicy level as mild will do. I had the normal spicyness and I had to gulp down lots of water!!

You are deeply missed QY!!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! SMI clean room. We looked sooo funny...

Famous chocolates from Germany. Wein Brand contains brandy and Sarotti contains cherry. I didn't quite like it due to very strong liquor taste. I passed one Herz Kirschen chocolate to Penny for I wanted to see her face squished together after eating it! HAHA I am so mean...

P.S He's just not that into you is good!

days grow longer and as the time goes by, things are taking their change. may love remain no matter how the weather change. may love remain no matter how tough the life may be. may love remain no matter how cruel the reality is.
